Well now that you know what fruits and vegetables are safe to feed horses, some of you are
probably wondering about those toothless or nearly toothless horses sitting in your backyard.
Some of the softer varieties can easily be chewed or gummed, even by those without teeth. But
then you have those favorites like carrots that they can no longer manage to gum to death. Don't
worry it's not necessary for them to give them up.

The solution? Well it's actually quite easy. Simply add the fruit or vegetable to a blender filled
part way with water, and blend. You can then mix it with wheat bran to make a yummy mash, mix
with their normal grain ration, or simply leave it liquid for them to drink. Another alternative is to
pop those fruits or vegetables in your juicer.
