1986 - December 5, 2011

She was brought to Equine Recline when her owner could no longer ride her due to lameness issues. She had such a
vibrant personality that despite the cliché, we just had to name her Sunshine.

December 5, 2011: We said good-bye to Sunshine today after she suffered a heart attack and went into congestive heart
failure. It will very weird to be in the barn and not hear her flapping lips scolding us about something, she her golden self
out on the pasture, or hear her squealing at Shalom over something. She's once again with Maverick and I'm sure they're
getting up to all sorts of mischief. You will be missed Golden Girl.

August 20, 2007: Sunshine is back. Which has made Maverick extremely happy.

September 20, 2006: Sunshine has found a new home where she is currently being fostered!

August 15, 2006: The vet found that Sunshine has arthritis in her left shoulder. Right now she is still lame, but we are
hoping with herbs, supplements, and acupressure, we might be able to get her comfortable enough that she could enjoy
some light riding and find a wonderful new home.

July 13, 2006: Sunshine's rehabilitation, is progressing very well. Treatment from a massage therapist is proving to help
with her lameness issues. We are absolutely thrilled with her improvement and will keep posting more pictures and
information on her as time goes on.
