May 17, 1990 to December 27, 2011 For those interested her pedigree can be found here. December 27, 2011: We said good-bye to Marina today. Between the arthritis and insulin resistance she was no longer handling the colder weather well at all. Marina has been retired here at Equine Recline due to her arthritis and suspected insulin resistance. May 16, 2007: La Marina is a 17 year old, bay Peruvian Paso mare. Her owners are traveling and could no longer keep her. She is a lovely mare, with a sweet personality. She is very arthritic, so we don't know if she will eventually be placed up for adoption or if she'll be retired here. |
