This Christmas we offered shelter to an emaciated, pregnant mare named Natasha. She was in desperate need of help and a safe haven, not just for herself, but also for her unborn baby. While already full, we knew that some how, some way, we had to take her.
It’s a season of miracles, of hope. A time when remembering a baby born in a manager because there wasn’t room at the inn, helped prompt what might seem to some an illogical move. Yet we have already begun to see God’s hand move over this very special mare. People that have stepped forward to donate even a couple of dollars to make sure she and her baby have the chance they deserve.
Won’t you too please help Natasha and her baby?
And by the way her name means Christmas Day.
