Yesterday Maverick got shoes on his front hooves. This is because he’s been wearing the hoof off as he walks. He was VERY happy to get the shoes on! He got the first one and immediately wanted to go play. 
But he willingly stood for us to get the other shoe on. He worked very hard to hold himself up to get the shoes on, and was such a good boy! We are incredibly proud of him.
You can see in the picture how much of the front of his hoof he has worn off.
Unfortunately he has not been able to wear the prosthetic as right now the pressure is too much and causing him to bleed. Until he is fully healed we cannot put it back on again.
